A Hopeful Future

ACCSA Inc.
ACCSA Inc.

When we first met Dana, she was a shattered and broken young lady. We didn't know much about her back story, and we didn't ask many questions. Our main concerns were:

  • Is she legit or a scammer?

  • What extent are her wounds?

  • Does she have enough food?

  • Are her dogs taken care of?

That was pretty much what we were there for, and nothing more. However, she was so sweet, so positive, and proving herself to be trustworthy every day, more and more. She has become a passion to us and, I'm sure, the community. Our absolutely amazing community of caring individuals have been so good with donating their time, efforts, financial support, and even love for our sweet Dana. This community has solidified the wonderful miracle of the outcry for community support being heard and answered like an army of angels. Thank you to all of the wonderful people helping in this situation.

As we have gotten to know Dana more and more, we have been pulled into her life, and many recent details have come to light about her past and present. A lot of extreme sadness, a lot of hardships. Most have not even been able to imagine in a lifetime, let alone at a young 25. Her most recent struggle is having to leave her home, and find a new place for her and her dogs to be together, safely and happily, as she heals and works on a better and more stable future. You should know, this young lady is very smart, resilient, brave, upbeat, and funny. She tries to help others while still needing help herself.

We have changed our plans, since current events have arisen:

  • Dana needs a Tracfone, first and foremost, so we can stay in touch with her for appointments and in case an emergency arises. We are working on that, and will gratefully take donations for that to happen, with paying a few months in advance.

  • Next, we are looking for suitable and safe housing for Dana and her two dogs.

  • Finally, she is still accepting meals and non perishable groceries.

She is so worth a better and brighter future. She's been through enough in such a short time. She's willing to work hard to meet the goals set to create this future for herself. Knowing how devoted she is, we are working to get her

integrated with Alamance County Community Social Services Agency Inc.. So far, a very hopeful and wonderful team of people. We have also set 3 appointments for further follow-ups on her wounds. Stay tuned for those updates and further updates of Dana's life advancements.

Thank you again to our absolutely amazing community for helping to keep Dana safe and fed. You guys are so amazing!
